FOR-PROFIT: commissions intended to be used in for-profit publications or by businesses require a separate written agreement outlining terms of use and distribution. i am more than happy to provide works for use in perpetuity, and to renew or extend use rights in good faith. any and all for-profit use of my original works without informed, express written permission from me is unlawful copyright infringement and voids all terms of our existing agreement, including any deposits or payments recieved. any infringement will be pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
NOT FOR PROFIT: commissions on behalf of nonprofits may be exempt from certain terms. please inform me of your 501(c) (or other) status and the goals of your organization. i'm happy to donate commissions free of charge wherever they are legally deemed as tax-deductible, or if i personally value the the work of your organization :)
OTHER PUBLICATIONS: inform of any intent to distribute. small or private projects like zines still require a written agreement outlining terms of use & distro. this is purely to separate myself and my work from any other party in case of unexpected litigation, slander or messy situations, and will not affect the price of the commission.
